The Parliament Building located on the eastern bank of Danube between Lanchíd (Chain Bridge) and Margit híd (Margaret Bridge) was constructed between 1884 and 1902 and it was modeled on the Houses of Parliament in London.

This magnificent building has 27 entrances and 691 rooms; the height of its central dome is 96 meters. It contains the crown jewels of St. Stephen and Coronation Insignia.

The guided tours in English run at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00 and start from Gate X.
