Instant

Budapest. Bars. Instant

Instant is a classic Budapest "ruin bar", except it is huge: it occupies the whole three-storey derelict building with its inner yard and all the apartments. Because of that Instant has the atmosphere of a squat house, and naturally young artists display their works in its many rooms with old furniture, different lighting and design. Here drinks are cheep, sandwiches are awful, and everyone seems to have a great time, especially with the concerts that start every night at 22:00.

Places in Budapest
Never again

Very ugly place, the doorpeople are unfriuendly and full of hate, the restrooms are dirty AND THEY WANT YOU TO PAY FOR THEM

overrated

The waiters are unfriendly, they almost spit in your face. The place is always crowded, mainly by tourists, because they like the "atmosphere". The beer is expensive and definitely not worth the price. You have to pay for the toilet (wtf?) and there is written "no tagging" all over the place, although the interior already looks like a pigpen.

You all are huge haters

This place is the shit.. basically a three-story art exhibit, each room is decorated differently with varying themes and everyone just generally seems to be having a good time. If the american suck-up to get tipped sevice system has ruined you, you will be disappointed that yes, the waiters are not begging you for your money. just point to any bottle and theyll be happy to explain its history and describe its flavor; an open mind and a smile will have you learning as well as boozing deliciously in no time

You don't have to pay to use

You don't have to pay to use the toilets - like many places, there is an attendant waiting there who you can tip if you want to.
