Bath Happy Hours

From 5th October 2010 Budapest baths will launch happy hours on weekdays when visitors have 50% discount on the entrance ticket. For instance, on Tuesday you can bathe half price in Lukács Bath, and on Thursday - in Gellért Bath.

From 11th October Gellért Bath will also run every Sunday the Family Day when men and women can use two thermal sections that are separated on all other days.

Budapest Design Week

Budapest Design WeekBudapest Design Week held for seventh time from its inception, will run in 2010 between 1st and 10th October. Budapest Design Week offers an extensive program of events around the city, including exhibitions, presentations and shows both for professionals and public. The theme of Budapest Design Week 2010 is “Design – For Use”.

The program includes such events as “All is Us!” in FISE Gallery - the collection of concept designs, graphical works, jewellery and visions from the beginning of the 21st century, or “Business Card” - exhibition of graduates of the Modart Art and Fashion School and The Visart Academy of Arts.

Among several design fairs there is a traditional WAMP Design Fair to be held on On 10th October in Gödör Club on Erzsébet square, and MÖBELKUNST fair (October 2, 3, 9, 10) in the industrial area on IX. Tagló utca 11–13 where you can find original design furniture, lamps and accessories from 1950-1980.

World Photo Exhibition 2010

World Photo Exhibition 2010World Photo Exhibition collection of 200 pictures by 63 photographers from 23 countries selected by international panel of judges, has reached Budapest and will be on display between 30 September and 31 October.

This year it will be presented in Millenaris daily from 10.00 to 18.00 with admission ticket costing 1750 Ft (6 Eur).

The first Budapest Networking Group meeting

The Budapest Networking Group launches it's regular meet-ups. Our meeting is going to be in the famous Buda pub Paulaner in MOM Park.
