It will take just about 15 minutes to see this museum, which occupies part of an original underground tunnel. The museum displays the history of the first underground on the continent and there are old carriages, equipment and plans on display.
We strongly recommend that you see the interior of the Opera House designed by Miklós Ybl and completed in 1884. Inside decorations are superb and lavish, they strike. The ceiling in the main auditorium where hangs a three ton bronze chandelier was frescoed by Károly Lotz.
If you want to see just the building, and not an opera, you can take a tour. Tours are conducted in English, German, French, Hungarian and some other European languages and take about an hour, beginning at 15:00 and 16:00.

Always crowded. Popular among locals and tourists. Serbian specialties, inexpensive drinks. No Cuban food and cigars despite the name. One of the places in Budapest you want to come back to because of its special, laid-back atmosphere.
"Coffe" is not a typo here, it's just the name of the place as they spell it. Italian cuisine, but with Goulash and other Hungarian specialties. Dimmed light and romantic atmosphere in modern interior.
