Petőfi Bridge named after Hungarian poet Sándor Petőfi. This bridge lacking the usual extravagant decoration of Budapest bridges was rebuilt after World War II and today serves the tram and public traffic of Grand Boulevard over the Danube.

At the Pest end Petofi Bridge ends with Boráros Square, the terminus of Csepel Suburban railway, and at the Buda side there are buildings of Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Holocaust Memorial Center

The museum is dedicated to the history of Holocaust in Hungary, massacre of Hungarian Jews and Roma, and its exhibits include documentary footage, photos and objects from the Holocaust period with very powerful audio, video and light background.

Iguana is a great second-hand and old collections store where you can find unique, one of a kind bags, glasses, jackets, trousers, shoes, hats, jewelry and accessories. 60s, 70s, Indian, African, Oriental: it is all there. You can spend hours there just browsing or looking for your special gem.

Jedermann

Having changed its owners and the name from Eckermann to Jedermann, this cafe by the Goethe Institute still remains a hub for many German speaking expats who come here to read newspapers and magazines, have a lunch or a cup of coffee. The food is inexpensive, the cafe is quiet enough in the daytime to work with your laptop and crowded enough in the evening to have a drink with your friends.

We tried their Quesadilla and Chili con carne, and these were very good. They also served it with a smile and fast. The other good thing about the place is moderate prices. That's probably best place next to Raday.
