I. Ostrom u. 19
This restaurant & bar in the cozy cellar with authentic British pub furniture and decorations is a perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. Attentive English-speaking staff and good music. Meat dishes are very good here, and the portions are impressive. The average price for dinner with drinks is 2000-3000 HUF per person. Recently opened ground floor addition to the pub offers daily menu of 3-4 courses.
Hungarian specialties, vegetarian dishes and decent selection of Hungarian wines in rather simple interior. Service is included in the bill, and probably for this reason leaves much to be desired. Summer terrace.
IX. Ráday utca 15
Very modest prices and one of the best goulashes in the area.
V. Molnár utca 15
The name says it all. The pub in spacious cellar with good ventilation and may TVs where you can watch major sporting events. Usually full of male British fans with pints in their hands.

Probably, the most famous restaurant in Budapest. It is famous not only for its authentically Hungarian cuisine, but also for its turn-of-the-20th-century atmosphere skillfully recreated in 1992.
